Our Team

Diana Riemenschneider comes to Shawnee with over 20 years experience in Mt. Healthy.  "Ms. Riem" taught for 16 years and served as an Assistant Principal for 3 years as well as Athletic Director for Mt. Healthy Schools.  Her personal skills and passion for children will be an asset to our Shawnee family.

Sara Hayes is our school counselor. This is her 5th year as a school counselor and 2nd year at Shawnee. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. As the school counselor, Ms. Hayes helps students with academic and social-emotional development.  She provides support in these areas through individual and group counseling, classroom lessons, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators. Her favorite part of working with this age group is the genuine love and pure happiness each student has walking into the building each morning. They are a daily reminder that you can start every day on a positive note and that is the most admirable quality of this age group. 

Jenny Helterbridle is the Office Manager at Shawnee Early Childhood School. Jenny has been serving the Shawnee community since 2007. Her degree is a Bachelors in Business Administration. She handles many items including, but not limited to, office operations management, transportation, ordering and finance, as well as Facility usage. She absolutely loves her position and working with Shawnee families.

Pamela Elliott is a shining example of dedication and commitment to the Shawnee Early Childhood community! With her extensive experience in the Special Education Department and her current role as Office Secretary, she has built strong relationships with parents and students over the years. Her warm and friendly demeanor, along with her willingness to go above and beyond, make her an invaluable asset to the school. It's clear that Pamela is passionate about her work and genuinely cares about the well-being of those she serves here at Shawnee. Her love and kindness for students and families doesn’t go unnoticed.

Sarah Wilkinson is embarking on her second year at Shawnee and celebrating a decade in education. As a Teacher Leader, her role is to support the Shawnee staff in creating engaging and effective learning environments where students can truly thrive. Outside of her work with teachers, Sarah takes great pleasure in getting to know each student personally, with a goal of learning the name of every student each year.

Rachel Sackenheim, MSW, LISW-S Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is happy to partner with Shawnee Early Childhood School to offer Mental Health Counseling Services! School-Based Mental Health Services Rachel offers services that can help with: Assessing behavioral problems & strengths Attention/Focus Concerns Impulsivity/Aggression Emotion Regulation Anger Outbursts Anxiety/Worries Separation Anxiety Depression Negative Self-Talk Trauma Crisis Intervention Grief/Loss Family Support Developing Coping Skills & Techniques
